Will YOU be our 2026 primary beneficiary?
We’re looking for local groups and organisations to apply to be our primary beneficiary this year.
One local group has the chance to receive up to 50% of the profits from this year’s event with the remainder distributed amongst other local good causes who provide volunteers to help put on this event.
Over the past 10 years Ilkley Carnival has donated over £150k to groups across the local community.

The deadline for applications is 19 February 2026, successful shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
Note: Applications will only be considered which meet the following criteria:-
- Capital projects or one-off events, ie not running costs.
- The project must benefit the local community and preference will be given to LS29 centric applications.
- Must be deliverable within 12 months of the 2026 Carnival.
- Only projects which require funds in excess of £3,000 (if your project is less than this then you should assist as helpers and obtain funding that way).
- You must demonstrate a willingness to be a partner and play an active part in the event. As a minimum this will normally be demonstrated by providing helper assistance and engaging with our social media channels. However, ideas that enhance the Carnival will be looked upon favourably.
