New for 2024 the ‘Ilkley Carnival Scavenger Hunt’

This year sees the very first ‘Ilkley Carnival Scavenger Hunt’ and children’s activity sheet, launched in conjunction with Ilkley BID!

Making sure the Carnival fun starts right now, activity sheets can be downloaded (below), are being handed out to local schools AND will be available as we sell advance tickets outside Bettys on The Grove on Saturday 27th April and Saturday 4th May between 10am – 3pm and from our stand at Real Markets Yorkshire on Sunday 5th May.

‘Scavenger hunters are challenged to find Ilkley Carnival’s Mardi Gras numbers in shop windows, step inside the store to get your sheet stamped and ‘collect’ each store’s code letter. Simply gather all 14 letters to crack the code and reveal our hidden message!’

Completed scavenger hunt sheets should be taken to Booths supermarket’s customer service desk, where a completion certificate will be issued.

CRITICAL MESSAGE FOR OUR HUNTERS: Please remember to include your school name on your completed activity sheet as the school with the highest percentage of pupils taking part will be awarded with a trophy on the stage, on Carnival Day!!
